Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Principal to oversee a variety of audit and related assignments with minimal supervision, emphasizing technical review, engagement supervision, mentoring, and consistent delivery of high-quality work.

You will supervise staff, conduct technical engagement reviews, and maintain strong client relationships while expanding your technical expertise through internal trainings and industry-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA license required with strong public accounting audit background.
• 15+ years of experience in public accounting audits.
• Proven ability to review complex audit engagements and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit engagements with minimal supervision and coordinate with Partner group.
• Perform technical reviews of financial statements and audit workpapers.
• Supervise and mentor staff, guiding professional development.
• Identify high value opportunities for existing clients.
• Represent technical reputation through trainings and publications.
• Maintain relationships with clients with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Develop technical expertise through ongoing training.
• Manage time, supervise staff effectively, and support profitability.
