Job summary

Novogradac seeks a Principal to oversee audit and related engagements with minimal supervision and strong emphasis on technical review and mentoring. You will guide engagement teams, ensure quality work, and manage complex matters in coordination with the Partner group.

You will mentor staff, maintain client relationships, pursue technical excellence, and help grow the Firm’s reputation through training and client discussions. This role offers hybrid/remote opportunities in a national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• Advanced understanding of auditing standards for complex engagements.
• Strong communication of technical matters to Partners, teams and clients.
• Supervisory judgment and ability to assess audit risks and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned audit engagements and technical reviews with minimal supervision.
• Lead and mentor staff, delivering high-quality work and timely engagement completion.
• Identify high value-added opportunities for Firm clients and contribute to technical reputation.
