Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Principal to oversee audit and related engagements with minimal supervision, emphasizing technical review and mentorship. You will guide engagement teams, review complex matters, and ensure timely, high-quality work for diverse clients.

The role requires CPA licensure, a strong auditing background in public accounting, and the ability to manage multiple engagements, train staff, and maintain client relationships. Travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• Experience in public accounting audit with complex engagements.
• Strong technical understanding of auditing and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit engagements and technical review with minimal supervision.
• Review financial statements, workpapers, and audit conclusions.
• Mentor and supervise professional staff; support development.
• Identify high value opportunities for clients and firm.
• Engage in internal trainings, client trainings, and technical discussions.
• Maintain relationships with clients through professionalism and responsiveness.
• Enhance technical expertise through ongoing training.
• Manage time and resources to deliver high quality work.
• Travel domestically as required; work evenings/weekends as needed.
