Job summary

AAA-The Auto Club Group is seeking a Senior Attorney to handle high‑level insurance defense work, with emphasis on personal injury and no‑fault matters. The role supports claims personnel, manages discovery, and drafts trial materials.

Primarily remote from a home office, occasional travel may be required. Requires Michigan bar admission and extensive litigation experience in no‑fault or insurance defense.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Member of the State Bar in applicable state.
• Minimum five (5) years licensed attorney experience in personal injury, no‑fault, or insurance litigation; or three (3) years as Associate Attorney at ACG Staff Counsel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, file, review allegations and provide opinions to claims personnel.
• Prepare responses to civil complaints and file motions.
• Conduct discovery including depositions and interrogatories.
• Review insurance policies and related documents.
• Select investigators and arrange subpoenas and summonses.
• Prepare uninsured/underinsured motorist cases for trial/arbitration.
• Submit pre‑trial statements and attend hearings.
