Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive AP experience, ideally in a law firm or legal services setting.
• Full-cycle AP knowledge: invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables; familiarity with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP is a plus.
• Ability to manage a high-volume AP workload with accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process 20-50+ invoices and payment requests per day in a high-volume AP function.
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance with procedures.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, check requests, and AP transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain audit-ready AP records and documentation.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and internal teams to resolve AP issues.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Provide guidance to junior AP staff on complex transactions.
