Jobot, a growing legal services firm, seeks a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume AP in a fully remote setting. The role involves ownership of complex AP tasks, monthly close support, and collaboration with an experienced accounting team.

You will process 20-50 invoices daily, ensure accurate coding, resolve discrepancies, and drive process improvements while maintaining a clean audit trail and strong vendor relations.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience in a law firm or legal services.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, invoice coding, payment processing, vendor reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Experience with carrier invoices or billing guidelines is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Process 20-50+ invoices and payment requests per day.
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance with established procedures.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, check requests, and other AP transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, duplicate invoices, and vendor inquiries.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and assist with resolving outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation to ensure a clean audit trail.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations, accrual support, and outstanding invoice review.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and internal departments to address AP-related issues and maintain timely processing.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline processes, and improve AP efficiency.
• Serve as an experienced resource to other AP team members and provide support on more complex transactions as needed.
