Premier Group Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage complex engagements, lead close cycles, and serve as a technical resource. The role requires understanding the full accounting cycle and moving beyond task completion to review financial results and improve processes.

This remote, part-time position averages 20–25 hours per week, with a 90-day probation period and potential transition to full-time. Pay rate is $27.50/hour.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license or active candidacy preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full accounting cycle.
• Experience with month-end close, financial statement prep, reconciliations.
• Experience reviewing staff work and providing feedback.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, large data sets).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or other ERP systems.
• Ability to research accounting issues and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Excellent organization, time management and multi-deadline handling.
• Experience with grants, governmental accounting, or 2 CFR Part 200 is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review federal financial reporting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Perform complex reconciliations across GL, Treasury, and grant accounts.
• Research and resolve unreconciled balances and discrepancies.
• Support federal financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with grants management, drawdowns, and 2 CFR Part 200 compliance.
• Analyze reimbursable and interagency agreements and cost recovery.
