Job summary

Premier Group Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant who can independently manage complex engagements, lead close and reporting, and serve as a technical resource for clients and staff. This role emphasizes understanding the full accounting cycle, reviewing results, improving processes, and coaching junior colleagues.

Only experienced accountants with strong GAAP knowledge will fit. The position is part-time (20–25 hours weekly) with a 90-day period before potential transition to full-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, governmental, nonprofit, or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal financial reporting schedules, analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Perform complex monthly and quarterly reconciliations across GL, Treasury, and fund accounts.
• Research and resolve unreconciled balances and discrepancies.
• Support federal financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
