Premier Group Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to independently manage complex accounting engagements, lead recurring close and reporting activities, and serve as a technical resource for clients and team members.

This role emphasizes the full accounting cycle, reviewing results, improving processes, and mentoring staff. Role requires handling federal financial reporting, grants management, and working with large data sets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting, outsourced accounting, governmental, nonprofit, or professional-services experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the full accounting cycle.
• Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Experience reviewing the work of other accounting staff and providing actionable feedback.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review federal financial reporting schedules, account analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance explanations.
• Perform complex reconciliations involving multiple GL accounts and fund-related accounts.
• Research and resolve unreconciled balances and other discrepancies.
• Support federal financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with grant financial management including review of expenditures and closeout documentation.
• Analyze reimbursable and interagency agreements and reconciliation activity.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers and respond to auditor requests.
• Maintain documentation of accounting methodologies and conclusions.
