Premier Group Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently manage complex accounting engagements, lead recurring close and reporting activities, and serve as a reliable technical resource for clients and team members.

This role is designed for an experienced accountant who understands the full accounting cycle and can move beyond task completion to reviewing financial results, identifying issues, improving processes, and helping less-experienced staff succeed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license or active candidacy preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience; public or governmental experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full accounting cycle.
• Experience with month-end close, financial statement prep, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
• Experience reviewing staff work and providing actionable feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review federal financial reporting schedules, analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting docs.
• Perform complex reconciliations across GL, Treasury, grants, and fund accounts.
• Research and resolve unreconciled balances and discrepancies.
• Support federal financial statements and reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgets, funds management, obligation monitoring, and forecasting.
• Support grant management, including expenditures review and 2 CFR Part 200 compliance.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers and respond to requests from auditors and clients.
