Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Account Manager for Healthful Solutions (US/CAN). This remote position covers California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Oregon and focuses on delivering revenue and margin growth within the protein fortification portfolio.

You will lead strategic account plans, drive cross-functional collaboration, and manage a multi-state sales territory while leveraging CRM tools to forecast performance and opportunities. Travel to customer sites and events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of specialty ingredient sales or related B2B role.
• Proven track record managing strategic customer accounts and profitable growth.
• Experience working remotely and managing a multi-state or regional sales territory.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales revenue and volume targets for assigned strategic accounts.
• Build and manage a robust project pipeline by identifying growth opportunities within existing customers and new prospects.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that create long-term customer value.
• Drive sales of specialty, value-added protein fortification solutions by uncovering unmet customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Technical Service, Marketing, Product Line Management, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
• Lead customer engagements including commercial discussions, technical/project ideation, and contract negotiations.
• Forecast sales performance and pipeline activity using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and internal reporting systems.
• Represent Ingredion at relevant customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
