Job summary

Chicory is seeking a Senior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting cold accounts to closing deals. You’ll partner with Client Success and Product to align client needs with Chicory’s advertising platforms.

The role emphasizes strategic selling to CPG brands and shopper marketing agencies, with travel and presentations to close high-value partnerships. Remote or New York/Hybrid location options, offering a competitive base salary and stock options.

Qualifications

• Five years of digital/online media sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and events.
• Deep relationships and knowledge within the CPG and shopper marketing industry.
• Experience selling to agencies and brands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to negotiate and close complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for a portfolio of cold accounts, from prospecting to close.
• Develop and execute a structured sales strategy with prioritization and outreach sequencing.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with shopper marketing leads, brands, and agencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft strategic media plans and align with client needs.
• Manage renewals with a consultative approach to grow partnerships over time.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Client Success, Campaign Management, and Product to ensure seamless experiences.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, activity logs, and revenue forecasts.
• Stay updated on Chicory’s product suite and relay client feedback to roadmap teams.
• Represent Chicory at client meetings and industry events, with travel up to 20%.
