Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to drive semiconductor growth (ASIC/FPGA) with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical clients. This remote role demands strong technical sales skills and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into compelling client solutions.

You will craft technical/cost proposals, build long-term client relationships, and help shape designs while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers a plus
• Strong technical documentation and ability to translate customer needs into proposals
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Self-motivated team player in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to present technically to customers and executives

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle
• Contribute to development of ASIC architecture
• Develop long-term client relationships and interpret requirements
• Create technical and cost proposals
• Deliver technical presentations showing product alignment with client needs
• Meet sales targets and coordinate projects with sales teams
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Support marketing events and customer engagements
• Collaborate with IC Design, Test, and Product teams
