Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager (remote) to bridge engineering and business growth in the semiconductor space. You will engage Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical clients, translate technical needs into opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to define approaches and cost estimates.

Travel up to 30% may be required. The role requires strong technical background in ASIC/FPGA, design automation, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry in Mil-Aero/Industrial contexts is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong English oral and written communications; high interpersonal skills.
• Experience with systems including regulators, drivers, ADCs, SPI, CAN, microprocessors, thermal and EMC considerations.
• Proven ability to document technical requirements and develop technical and cost proposals.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Make technical presentations showing how a product meets client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% to engage with customers and attend events.
