Job summary

Land O'Lakes seeks a Seed Sales Agronomist to serve as the local expert for seed products and agronomy tools within WinField United Commercial Sales teams. You will train internal staff and retail partners, forecast local product needs, and support on-farm trials with material development.

This remote role is home-based but must be located in Ohio, Northern Indiana, or Southern Michigan to partner directly with customers; ideal NE Indiana or NW Ohio regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or business-related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience coaching, training and executing technical agronomic decisions, and developing and educating others on agronomy products.
• Ability to create working relationships internally and externally while leading through influence at all levels in an organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute local training and communication plans for Seed portfolio.
• Develop local seed selling tools and coordinate training across teams and retailers.
• Identify local market needs, forecast production and support on-farm trials.
