Land O'Lakes is seeking a Seed Sales Agronomist to serve as the local expert for seed products and agronomy tools, supporting WinField United Commercial Sales teams and retail partners. You will train internal staff and retailers, forecast local product needs, and lead on-farm trials with technical training materials tailored to your area.
This remote/virtual role can be based in OH, Northern IN or Southern MI, collaborating closely with Portfolio Managers to translate national seed messaging
Competenze
- Experience coaching, training and executing technical agronomic decisions, and educating others on agronomy products.
- Understanding of seed crop growth, development and physiology for core crops relevant to geography.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships while leading through influence at all levels.
- Ability to make sound decisions and adapt quickly to change.
Mansioni
- Execute local training and communication plans for internal teams and retailers.
- Develop local seed selling tools and align with national seed brand messaging.
- Lead local on-farm trials, design demo plots, and deliver content.
- Identify portfolio gaps and forecast local production needs in assigned areas.
