Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is seeking an experienced agronomy professional to support seed sales and field activities across Western Iowa, Northeast Nebraska and South Dakota. The role emphasizes building grower relationships, delivering agronomic guidance, and coordinating data-driven marketing materials.

The candidate should have a university degree in agronomy or related field and 3+ years in the agriculture industry, with a preference for a Certified Crop Advisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Soils, Ag Business or related field.
• 3+ years in agriculture industry with understanding of agro input practices.
• Certified Crop Advisor or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Division Seed Sales Representatives in seed selling efforts (field days, ride along, grower meetings).
• Strengthen customer business plans and sustainable initiatives.
• Manage and compile data (plot data, seed matrix) for marketing formats.
• Evaluate products and share observations with product development teams.
• Follow up with Customer Service inquiries and support field problems.
• Coordinate 3rd party testing and assist in product selection for yields and demo plots.
• Develop agronomic bulletins, product guides, tech sheets and support materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
