Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is seeking an entry-level Full Time position in NE Iowa. The role focuses on developing prospects, engaging growers, and driving sales of agricultural inputs.

You will work on credit reviews, customer support, and order fulfillment within our on-site team. The ideal candidate has a university degree or equivalent agriculture experience, with at least 2 years in the industry and proficiency in Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred or 5+ years agriculture experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years' experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, as well as the application of agricultural chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and provide information to Credit Manager to set credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
