Job summary

Nutrien is hiring for an entry-level Agricultural Sales Associate in Iowa. This on-site role develops new prospects and supports growers with crop inputs to help meet and exceed sales goals while delivering excellent service.

You will coordinate with a team to ensure on-time deliveries, manage credit considerations, and assist with account receivables. A university degree is preferred; equivalent agriculture experience is also acceptable, with opportunities across NE Iowa locations like Winthrop

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience.
• 2+ years' experience in agriculture industry and application of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers and assist with credit decisions and collections.
