Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Remote Security Sergeant to lead security operations at remote client locations, including Kuparuk. You will supervise personnel, enforce policies, coordinate with law enforcement, and ensure safety and security standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive security experience, and the ability to work in a remote camp environment with a rotating schedule. State licenses and firearms qualifications are required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for past three years.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain State of Alaska Armed Guard License upon hire.
• Experience with training development and quarterly general security training.
• Experience handling handguns and meeting state firearms qualifications.
• Knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS).
• Eligible for certifications such as TWIC and ATF Explosives Possessor.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and contract software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and personnel at client facilities.
• Assign posts and patrols with appropriate staffing levels.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and post orders.
• Document business processes and manage staffing needs.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and documentation.
• Prepare employee work schedules and review leave requests.
• Maintain communication with clients to address security concerns.
• Review incident reports and coordinate with agencies as needed.
• Administer reports and maintain records.
• Conduct security investigations and determine corrective actions.
