Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Remote Security Sergeant to lead security operations at remote client locations in Alaska. You will supervise daily activities, enforce policies, manage staffing, and coordinate with clients and agencies.

Requirements include 5+ years in security/military, 2+ years supervisory experience, licenses (Alaska Guard, Armed Guard) and ability to obtain necessary credentials, plus strong ICS and EMS basics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of full-time professional experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to beginning work.
• Ability to obtain State of Alaska Armed Guard License upon hire.
• Experience with incident documentation, reporting, and basic emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and personnel assigned to client facilities.
• Assign personnel to posts and patrols while ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
• Interpret and enforce security policies, procedures, and post orders.
• Develop understanding of client needs and document business processes; manage staffing requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and prepare supporting documentation.
• Prepare employee work schedules and review leave requests for approval or denial.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address security concerns and satisfaction.
• Receive, review, and resolve incident reports and other security-related documentation.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other agencies as necessary.
• Maintain post orders and operational procedures; assist with investigations as required.
• Provide transportation services and emergency medical assistance within training scope.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate personnel to ensure performance and compliance.
• Monitor safety and sanitation standards and report deficiencies.
