Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC seeks a Remote Aviation Sergeant to lead security operations at remote client locations in Alaska. The role involves supervising personnel, enforcing post orders, and coordinating with law enforcement while supporting transport and aviation-related activities.

The position operates on a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation and is based at the Kuparuk Oil Field. Candidates must meet licensure requirements and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years of full-time security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for past 3 years.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License before start.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Armed Guard License on hire.
• Experience delivering security training and briefings.
• Ability to handle firearms and meet Alaska firearms qualifications.
• Proficiency with incident command system (ICS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and personnel at client facilities.
• Assign posts and patrols to maintain staffing levels.
• Enforce security policies, procedures and post orders.
• Understand client operations and document processes.
• Prepare schedules and review leave requests.
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Review and resolve security incident reports and logs.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain post orders and operating procedures.
• Provide incident command when required.
• Support security transport and aircraft weight/balance checks.
• Deliver basic emergency medical assistance within training scope.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Mentor and evaluate staff for performance and accountability.
• Operate vehicles for runway inspections and related tasks.
