Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC seeks a Remote Aviation Sergeant to lead security operations at remote client sites, including the Kuparuk Oil Field. The role involves supervising guards, enforcing policies, coordinating with clients, and ensuring safety and compliance in a demanding environment.

This position follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, requiring strong leadership, incident response, and the ability to live and work in a remote camp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five+ years full-time security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Two+ years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License prior to start.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Armed Guard License.
• Security training and quarterly instruction experience.
• Handgun experience and firearms qualification.
• ICS knowledge and incident documentation.
• MS Office and contract-specific software proficiency.
• Ability to complete pre-employment requirements including tests and remote-camp living.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and personnel.
• Assign staff to posts and maintain staffing levels.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and post orders.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Prepare employee work schedules and manage leave requests.
• Maintain client communications to address security concerns.
• Review and resolve incident reports and documentation.
• Provide transportation and emergency medical assistance as needed.
