Job summary

NANA Management Services in Alaska seeks a Remote Security Sergeant to lead and supervise security operations at remote client locations, including a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation and anchoring at the Anchorage Towers.

Responsibilities include coordinating posts, enforcing policies, documenting processes, coordinating with law enforcement, and providing emergency response and incident handling while maintaining client satisfaction in a demanding remote camp environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time professional security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and personnel at client facilities.
• Assign personnel to posts and patrols to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and post orders.
• Develop understanding of client needs and document business processes.
• Prepare employee work schedules and review leave requests.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other agencies as required.
• Conduct and assist with security investigations as needed.
• Review incident reports and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain post orders and operating procedures.
• Serve in on-call capacity during off-hours and assume Incident Command if needed.
• Provide transportation using various vehicles and offer emergency medical assistance as trained.
• Monitor safety and sanitation standards and mentor staff.
