Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of technical support, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical or technical problems over the phone.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions, correspondence, manuals, and product documentation.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn the operation and troubleshooting requirements of multiple product types.
• Comfortable working independently in a 100% remote environment.
• Must be located in Atlanta, GA or the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based technical support for residential and commercial products.
• Troubleshoot product service, installation, and operational issues.
• Ask appropriate diagnostic questions to identify potential product or equipment problems.
• Walk callers through troubleshooting procedures in a clear and professional manner.
• Interpret technical instructions, product documentation, manuals, and service information.
• Document customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions accurately.
• Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary.
