Job summary

Columbus is seeking a Sales Development Representative – Data and AI to build net new pipeline and nurture opportunities. You will source accounts, qualify leads and coordinate with account executives to convert opportunities into meetings.

The role emphasizes heavy outreach by phone and email, collaboration with marketing, and ongoing learning of Data & AI offerings. This is a remote US-based position with long-term potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as SDR/BDR in B2B tech or professional services; ERP, SaaS, Data or Consulting background a plus
• Knowledge of CRM systems and lead data
• Ability to show results: reply rates and meetings booked
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn software quickly and prioritize effectively
• Adaptable, professional, self-motivated, able to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop and qualify sales opportunities and handoffs to account executives
• Execute a structured 14-day cadence across target prospects and leads
• Personalize outreach from trigger events and engage C-level executives
• Target key companies with effective collaboration with sales and practice leaders
• Maintain product knowledge of Data & AI offerings and sales skills
• Log data in CRM and report on activity weekly
• Participate in sales training, webinars and marketing events
