Job summary

Slang AI is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive the initial outbound motions, researching restaurant operators that fit our ICP, crafting compelling emails and messages, and initiating conversations with decision-makers. You will work with AEs, Marketing, and a growth-minded team in a fully remote role with occasional travel.

You will own 40+ qualified appointments monthly, manage 100+ outbound touches daily, and continuously optimize sequences leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications

Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or SDR/BDR roles.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to articulate value quickly without jargon.
Curiosity-driven, competitive by nature with a desire for feedback.
Structured yet adaptable; thrives in routine while adjusting based on data.

Responsibilities

Identify and research restaurant operators that match the ICP; build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
Execute with discipline: high outbound activity and rapid pipeline growth.
Set and hand off 40+ qualified appointments per month to AEs with context for discovery calls.
Collaborate with AEs and Marketing to refine messaging and sequences.
Continuously test and improve outreach sequences and subject lines using AI tools.
Track funnel metrics and come prepared to 1:1s with data and plans to close gaps.
