Pearson is hiring part-time remote scoring associates to evaluate teacher licensure responses for New York candidates. You will work from home, follow standardized scoring guidelines, participate in consensus discussions, and ensure quality targets are met.

Training is provided, with sessions Mon-Fri on a flexible schedule. The role offers a starting rate of 17.50 USD per hour and remote work, with eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse).
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate responses to test questions by New York teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and engage with scorers in consensus scoring activities.
• Recognize and discuss bias types and discuss strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements, including passing a qualifying test before scoring.

Formation

Teaching certification in subject area

Educator with college/university teaching/advising in last 3 years

Degree in subject area with relevant employment in last 3 years
