Job summary

Pearson invites qualified individuals to score Georgia teacher licensure responses remotely. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or higher, be certified in the subject area, and have two+ years of public school experience, or have recent college/university faculty experience preparing candidates. Eligible to work in the United States is required.

Scoring is remote, with an hourly rate of $21.50, and sessions occur on a fixed schedule. Training is provided, and ongoing applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current teaching certification in the subject area and two+ years in public school.
• Possible college/university faculty experience preparing candidates.
• Must not be a Georgia educator or resident of Georgia.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Georgia teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and engage in consensus scoring activities.
• Recognize bias types and discuss strategies to reduce bias in scoring.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements including passing a qualifying test.
