Job summary

Parallel is hiring 3 full‑time Virtual Speech‑Language Pathologists for a school‑based, fully remote assignment for the 2026–2027 year. Openings are 3 full‑time roles with 35 hours per week, serving middle and high school students via teletherapy.

Requirements include CCC‑SLP and licensure in TN, OH, WV, or LA with compact privilege eligibility; Tennessee DOE credential; 1 year school‑based experience. $52/hour starting with W‑2 options possible depending on licenses and district needs.

Qualifications

• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Active SLP license in TN, OH, WV, or LA and eligible for TN ASLP-IC Compact Privilege.
• Must be willing to obtain Tennessee Department of Education credential.
• Minimum 1 year full‑time school‑based IEP therapy experience; 2+ years for case management.
• Experience with Medicaid billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide IEP‑aligned, student‑centered virtual speech therapy to middle and high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments using Parallel’s tools.
• Lead IEP meetings and manage cases for Speech‑Only students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor IEPs.
• Track data and generate progress reports for each cycle.
• Provide state‑specific services, including AAC support and SLPA supervision as needed.
