Job summary

Parallel is hiring 3 full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year. Positions are fully remote, serving middle and high school students through teletherapy. Compensation starts at $52/hour, with options for W-2 depending on licensing and district needs.

Responsibilities include IEP-aligned therapy, assessments using Parallel’s tools, IEP meetings, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. 1099 option described, onboarding incentives available.

Qualifications

• Current ASHA CCC-SLP credential.
• Active SLP license in one of the specified Compact states or willingness to obtain Tennessee Compact Privilege.
• Willingness to obtain TN DOE credential.
• Experience with IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (1+ year; 2+ years preferred).
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy to middle/high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments using Parallel tools.
• Lead IEP meetings and provide case management for Speech-Only students.
• Collaborate with school teams to design and monitor IEPs.
• Track session data and generate progress reports for cycles.
• Provide state-specific services including AAC support and SLPA supervision as needed.
