Parallel is hiring 3 full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year. This fully remote, school-based role serves middle and high school students with 35 hours weekly during standard school hours.

Compensation starts at $52/hour on a 1099 basis, with potential W-2 options depending on licenses and district needs. Required: CCC-SLP, active TN/OH/WV/LA license, TN DOE credential, and 1 year of school-based IEP-directed experience; 2+ years preferred for case

Formación

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active SLP license in TN, OH, WV, or LA (Out-of-state applicants must be eligible for and willing to obtain a Tennessee ASLP-IC Compact Privilege).
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Tennessee Department of Education (TN DOE) credential.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based experience conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations.
• 2+ years of experience preferred for case management.
• Demonstrated expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability for 35 hours per week during standard school hours.
• Preferred: Medicaid billing systems experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions to middle and high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations leveraging Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Lead IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students.
• Partner with multidisciplinary school teams to design, monitor, and refine Individualized Education Programs.
• Systematically track session data and student progress, developing detailed, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Deliver specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision as needed.
