Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions® is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator for a remote role with geographic constraints of within a 2-hour radius of Jacksonville, FL. The position supports scheduling and imaging coordination for hospitals under ElevatePFS® and involves daily 8:00am-5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

The role emphasizes strong patient communication, insurance verification, and scheduling across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing preferred.
• Over one year in a customer service or client relations role preferred.
• Experience in office or hospital settings preferred.
• High volume call center experience preferred.
• Strong literacy, including grammar, spelling, and math.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with HCA/Parallon IT systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone for scheduling and imaging information.
• Coordinate imaging and procedures for hospitals under ElevatePFS.
• Verify HIPAA information and educate patients on requirements.
• Schedule in hospital and ElevatePFS systems with accurate notes.
• Handle emails and faxes for assigned practices.
• Maintain logs of scheduled patients and procedures.
