Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions® is hiring a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator. This remote role requires living within a 2-hour radius of Dublin, GA, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm EST schedule. You will coordinate imaging, obtain authorizations, and deliver excellent patient service.

You will verify insurance details, schedule exams, and document notes across hospital systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and organized.
• Experience in a high-volume call center and customer service desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Verify and obtain insurance information, authorizations, and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling of imaging and procedures with clinical teams.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and internal teams to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain logs, respond to inquiries, and use scheduling software across modalities.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and document patient notes in systems.
