Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator to support patients by phone, coordinating imaging and procedures for contracted hospitals. This remote role requires residence within a 2-hour radius of Fenton, MO, and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm CST schedule.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, schedule exams, manage notes in ElevatePFS systems, and maintain compliant records while delivering exceptional service to patients,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or 2+ years in scheduling/healthcare scheduling/healthcare billing preferred.
• Over one year in a customer service role.
• Office or hospital environment experience preferred.
• High volume call center experience preferred.
• Strong literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations before services.
• Enter information into the computer systems and maintain documentation.
• Obtain CPT codes and diagnosis information as needed for authorizations.
• Coordinate scheduling of imaging and procedures with hospitals.
• Communicate with patients, referring physicians, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination.
• Maintain logs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
