Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator to work remotely from within a 3-hour radius of Augusta, GA. This role handles patient communications for scheduling and imaging, requests related to coordination of procedures, and interactions with hospitals contracted with ElevatePFS.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, screening HIPAA data, and documenting notes in hospital systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers preferred.
• Strong literacy and MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with HCA/Parallon IT systems preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and imaging appointments with accuracy and customer focus.
• Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Handle clerical tasks, emails, faxes, and notes in hospital systems.
• Maintain compliance documentation and multi-system scheduling.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.
