Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a SCADA Engineer to design, develop, and deliver SCADA solutions for solar PV and battery storage projects. The role supports plant monitoring, data integration, and commissioning across utility-scale projects nationwide.

Hybrid work is available with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, or can be fully remote. Minimum 2–4 years in SCADA engineering; Python proficiency required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy or utility scale projects.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Intermediate knowledge of Ignition SCADA.
• Familiar with PLC environments and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA integration components for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Define and implement design standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with customers and field personnel for commissioning and on-site support.
• Create device point lists, HMIs, test plans and commissioning checklists.
• Provide technical support for SCADA configurations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge base.
• Support platform development and data integration with cross-functional teams.
