Job summary

SMX is a leading technology firm seeking a Data Integration Specialist. This role is full-time and 100% remote, with minimal travel (<20%) and a requirement for Public Trust clearance. You will architect and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting source financial systems to the new budgeting platform.

Work with SAP SAC/HANA/S4HANA/BW stacks, develop CDS views, write SQL, and ensure data quality, security, and performance. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential for success on federal government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data integration, CDS View development, ETL, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with SAP analytics tools and SQL in relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for finance data.
• Analyze source data from ERP and federal systems to map and transform.
• Write CDS views and SQL scripts to load data into the budgeting platform.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and monitor data jobs.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to align designs with goals.
• Produce technical documentation and data flow diagrams.
