Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting source financial systems to a new budgeting platform. This fully remote role requires US citizenship and Public Trust clearance, with travel <20%.

You will collaborate with SAP experts and business stakeholders, implement data quality controls, and document data flows to ensure secure, scalable data integration for enterprise budgeting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in data integration, CDS view development, ETL/ELT, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with CDS, SQL, and relational databases (HANA, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with SAC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and data loading into models.
• Must obtain Public Trust clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for budgeting data.
• Analyze source data from systems like SAP S/4HANA and ERP ledgers.
• Create data mappings; develop CDS views and SQL scripts.
• Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with project teams and client SMEs.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
