Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines linking client financial systems to a new budgeting platform. The role is fully remote, full-time, with travel<20% and requires a Public Trust clearance.

Key responsibilities include ETL/ELT pipeline development, data mapping, CDS view creation, data quality, and collaboration with stakeholders to align data design with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with SAP analytics and data services.
• Experience with CDS views, SQL, and data integration.
• Strong analytics, BI, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Analyze source data from SAP/S/4HANA and other systems to map structures.
• Develop CDS views and SQL scripts to transform and validate data.
• Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize performance within SLAs.
• Collaborate with project teams and client SMEs on integration design.
• Create technical documentation and SOPs for data processes.
