Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines linking source ERP and HR systems to a new budgeting and forecasting platform. This 100% remote, full-time role requires handling SAP-based data strategies and ensuring secure, accurate data movement from diverse sources.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to analyze source data and business rules.
• Write and execute CDS views and SQL to transform data for the budget solution.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and SLAs.
• Create technical documentation and data flow diagrams.
