Job summary

SMX seeks a Data Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines connecting source financial systems to a new budgeting platform. You will work remotely with minimal travel, applying SAP SAC/HANA expertise and CDS/SQL skills to deliver secure, scalable data solutions.

The role requires a BS/BA in a relevant field, 5+ years in data integration, and US Citizenship for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in data integration, CDS view development, ETL, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with SAP SAC, HANA, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and BW.
• Strong SQL, CDS skills and data modeling capabilities.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Analyze source data from SAP and government systems; map and transform data.
• Develop CDS views, write SQL, and validate data against business rules.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and performance tuning of pipelines.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and document data flows and SOPs.
