Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Team Manager, Sales to recruit, develop and lead a district sales team targeting higher education institutions. You will drive subscription-based sales growth, manage onboarding and coaching, and align with enterprise account executives to maximize revenue.

The role is remote/home-based with about 40% travel, relocation not available. A Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of high-performance sales experience in higher education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, sales, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of exceptional sales performance in the higher education market.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to coach a sales team.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach and lead sales representatives and onboarding.
• Set district sales plans and strategic vision for the team.
• Drive revenue growth and market share in higher education accounts.
• Collaborate with enterprise account executives and product teams.
• Manage pipeline reporting, analytics, and performance reviews.
• Travel ~40% and maintain strong customer relationships.
