Thomson Reuters is seeking a Manager, Sales Specialists to lead a team focused on growth and revenue in the Risk unit of the Government Segment. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic sales processes, and customer value delivery, with a preference for candidates who can travel to hub locations (DC, MN, MI, TX) and operate remotely.
The position requires a strong background in B2B sales, coaching, and relationship building with C-level stakeholders, alongside deep market and product knowledge
Qualifications
- B.S. in related area or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Experience coaching sales processes and product training.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Sales Specialist team to drive new sales and revenue growth.
- Advance customer engagement and satisfaction through strategic initiatives.
- Apply strategic thinking to solve complex customer problems.
- Forecast accurately and report on market and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to align retention and talent development.
- Monitor performance through coaching, ride-alongs, and evaluations.
- Work with Marketing, Finance, HR, and Sales Support to maximize opportunities.
