Job summary

Hyland is seeking a Sales Solution Engineer for remote work in the United States to support the sales team through pre-sales activities. You will serve as the technical point of contact, deliver tailored demos, and coordinate with global services for a smooth transition to delivery.

The role requires a strong technical background, ECM knowledge, and excellent presentation skills, with an emphasis on AI trends and continuous learning. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or CS, or equivalent combination of education and experience with technical sales experience required.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and software implementation methodologies.
• Ability to develop engaging presentations and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
• Self-directed with ability to manage projects and up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact on standard customer engagements - coordinating customer pre-sales meetings, determining technical requirements, and working with development teams in support of solution enhancements.
• Create and present demonstrations of proposed solutions to key customer stakeholders - applying best practice knowledge and solution strategy to support validation and buy-in for the recommended approach.
• Coordinate meetings with global services to transition key information - remaining actively involved in the process to ensure a seamless customer handoff and effective knowledge transfer.
• Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy - and provide technical responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs) in a thorough and timely manner.
• Consistently provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies - growing knowledge and staying aware of best practices and market trends, and participating in trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, services, and technical teams - supporting a seamless pre-sales process and contributing to a positive customer experience from initial engagement through solution validation.
