Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to act as a strategic partner for the sales organization, focused on data, systems, and processes that drive revenue. This remote role supports the US market, reporting to the Sales Operations function and collaborating with IT and Operations.

The role emphasizes CRM integrity, SOP governance, and continuous process improvement, with responsibilities ranging from dashboards to contract processing in Salesforce and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar field.
• Deep knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management and CRM best practices.
• Analytical thinker able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience owning and communicating SOPs across teams.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and macros.
• Familiarity with automation tools and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with project management tools and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Salesforce admin knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own data integrity, CRM hygiene, and systems/tools that support revenue.
• Process contracts in Salesforce and coordinate handoffs to implementation.
• Design and maintain sales performance dashboards with actionable insights.
• Govern SOP repository and communicate procedural changes to stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into updated documented procedures.
• Identify referenceable client accounts to support sales cycles.
• Lead daily/recurring reporting, surface trends and risks to leadership.
• Maintain structured filing and records for sales operations documentation.
