Job summary

Samsara is seeking an experienced Sales Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Core team in Mainland Europe, focusing on DACH & France. You will manage a dispersed SE team, engage with Account Executives, and drive value demonstrations for our IoT and SaaS platform.

The role requires 5+ years in sales engineering management, strong business and technical acumen, and the ability to travel as needed. Remote work is available in Germany or France, with collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• 5+ years of sales engineering management experience.
• Experience with Software Product sales: Infrastructure, SaaS.
• Knowledge in IoT, Networking/Security, SaaS, Cloud Technologies, or Physical Security.
• Strong technical and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to partner with a broad coalition of stakeholders across the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Location: Remote, Germany or Remote, France.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual and team performance ensuring partnership with sales, product, support, and customer success teams is productive and efficient.
• Work with Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors on account planning, strategy, and sales call activity.
• Manage escalations (product issues, feature requests, etc.) in a pre-sales environment.
• Participate in customer/prospect calls as a trusted advisor.
• Partner with other Sales Engineering leaders to improve the overall Sales Engineering organization at Samsara.
