Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Engineer II for the SE Desk who is fluent in French. This remote US role supports customers across logistics, fleet maintenance, and operations, helping translate complex IoT solutions into practical outcomes.

You will assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries, run trials, develop integrations, and create product content while coordinating with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Eng, CS, Mech Eng, IE or related discipline.
1+ years of customer-facing pre-sales or support experience.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
Familiarity with cloud software, networking, or automation & control systems.
Hands-on experience with hardware, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries and tasks by monitoring and maintaining an inbound question queue.
Assist with technical trials to convey the value of Samsara solutions in a prospect's operation.
Create software scripting solutions and integrations for technical proofs of concept.
