Job summary

Crane ChemPharma & Energy Flow Solutions is seeking a remote Sales Engineer to manage a multi-state territory (OR, WA, ID, MT) from a home office, with preference for Portland, OR. You will drive sales, train customers and channel partners, forecast demand, and coordinate with service and management.

The role requires at least 2 years of outside sales experience in related markets, a technical or business background, and willingness to travel. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field, business or marketing.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to translate information into customer solutions.
• Competent with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) & various Web Apps.
• Willingness to travel day and night (air travel possible).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Crane ChemPharma & Energy products within defined territory to achieve profitable growth.
• Identify key influencers at Target Key Accounts and End Users to develop sales strategies.
• Champion Crane Business System tools and use them as standard work to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Key Account Team to develop strategies for Target End Users in refining and chemical industries.
• Drive MRO business and develop conversion accounts.
• Identify and manage projects in territory using IIR and Global Project Tracker (Salesforce CRM).
• Maintain detailed knowledge of product line and value proposition for applications.
• Assist Business Line Managers in New Product Development and sales integration.
• Develop sales forecast for each product line to aid production planning.
