Job summary

Crane ChemPharma & Energy, a division of Crane Co., seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to manage key accounts and drive project pursuits across OR, WA, ID, MT. This remote role requires heavy travel (approx.

60% in territory) and collaboration with regional teams to coordinate product strategies and end-user influence. You should have a chemical or mechanical engineering degree with 7–10 years in chemical/refining industries, strong CRM/communication skills, and experience with valves, pumps,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical/ mechanical engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in chemical, refining, or related industry (3+ years in field sales).
• Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience with valves, controls, and/or pumps in relevant markets (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual sales and orders for Crane CPE products.
• Develop ship set guidance for MRO conversions and projects.
• Manage key accounts and channel partnerships in assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue opportunities and participate in project backlog reviews.
• Provide product/technical training and defend value propositions to win bids.
